Performance
Speed up UiChemy pages for visitors with one master switch, five optimizations, and Elementor-specific options, all from UiChemy → Performance.
The Performance page speeds up UiChemy pages for your visitors. It loads only what each page needs and shows the top of the page faster. The page header sums it up: "Speeds up UiChemy pages for visitors. Logged-in admins see the normal page."
Why It Matters
A faster page keeps visitors on your site and scores better in Google PageSpeed. Turning these options on gives you a lighter page that shows its top section first and loads only the files it actually needs.
- Faster pages for visitors: the header and first sections appear straight away, and images further down load only when needed.
- Better PageSpeed scores: options like LCP-safe entrance animations keep fade-in effects from hurting your score.
- No extra speed plugin needed: the main speed-ups for Composer-built pages are built into UiChemy.
Use Cases
- A landing page built only with Composer widgets: turn on the Elementor Optimisations so Elementor's extra files stop loading.
- Client sites or ad landing pages where PageSpeed scores matter: use the Optimizations to speed up the first view.
- Long pages with lots of images: Lazy-load images loads them only as visitors scroll down.
Opening Performance
Open Performance
Go to UiChemy → Performance in your WordPress dashboard.
Choose your optimizations
Turn on Enable Performance Optimization, then switch individual options on or off.
Save
Click Save changes at the bottom right.
Logged-in admins always see the normal, unoptimized page. To see what visitors get, open the page in a private or incognito window.
Performance Optimization
Enable Performance Optimization is the master switch. It "turns every optimization below on or off". When it's off, none of the options on this page apply, even if they're switched on.
Optimizations
Each option has a small tag showing what it affects.
Elementor Optimisations
These options apply "only on pages built with Composer widgets alone". Pages that also use regular Elementor widgets keep loading Elementor's files as normal.
Options marked Synced with Elementor share their setting with Elementor's own settings page. Changing one here changes it in Elementor too, and the other way around.
Example: Your landing page is built only with Composer widgets. Turn on Elementor CSS, Elementor icons (eicons), and Other Elementor assets, set Google Fonts load to Swap, and click Save changes. Elementor's extra files stop loading on that page, while pages that use Elementor widgets are unchanged.
