UiChemy MCP

Understand the hosted UiChemy MCP connection, its tool groups and how it differs from WordPress MCP.

UiChemy MCP lets your AI assistant work with UiChemy projects and the section library. Connect a supported client to the hosted server, sign in to your UiChemy account, and describe the site or edit you need.

What Your Assistant Can Work With

Tool groupExample task
Account and projectsIdentify the connected account and list its projects
Section librarySearch layouts, inspect slots and their character limits, or get a layout or whole page as React and Tailwind code for your own app (library photos fill the picture slots when you describe what they should show)
Site creationBuild pages from real layouts and supplied business copy
Design systemEdit colors, fonts, spacing, buttons and cards
Pages and sectionsAdd, reorder or replace content in a project
MediaWork with supplied or uploaded images, image controls, logos and masked image edits (these use the same credits and plan as the editor's AI image editing)
ValidationCheck project content and responsive issues
Publishing and exportMark a project as exported for the WordPress plugin, or publish it as a WordPress site on a UiChemy address (.uichemysites.com), check status, list or unpublish sites. Astro, Cloudflare and EmDash publishing is done in the Publish panel, not over MCP

Any signed-in UiChemy account can connect (guest sessions cannot), and your plan's limits on projects, pages and sections still apply. Availability still depends on the tool. Tool discovery is more reliable than a fixed count of abilities.

Hosted MCP Is Not the WordPress Plugin MCP

The hosted URL connects to your UiChemy account, its projects and layout library. The WordPress plugin's MCP abilities operate on a particular WordPress installation and have their own connection, permissions and Pro requirements. Connecting the hosted URL does not give an assistant unrestricted access to your WordPress site.

The public MCP materials describe WordPress workflows that include Gutenberg. The plugin's AI Website Creator import also offers Gutenberg from UiChemy 5.4.0 (earlier versions marked it Coming soon). See Export to WordPress. Use the destination shown in the current workflow.

Privacy and Approval

The library's privacy statement says existing WordPress pages, code and client content stay on your installation rather than being uploaded to or stored by the layout library. That statement is about the library, not a claim that a hosted UiChemy project stores no data. Creating or importing a project saves content in your connected UiChemy account, and your AI client processes the tool responses it receives.

Ask your assistant to show a plan before edits. The Cursor plugin's skills instruct it to confirm before deleting, overwriting or publishing. An instruction in a client skill is not a universal server-side confirmation screen. Review your client's tool permissions and never paste passwords or tokens into prompts.

Start With a Read-Only Request

Confirm which UiChemy account is connected and list my projects by name. Do not create, edit, export or publish anything.
