How to Tag the TP MailChimp Widget for Figma to Elementor?
Tag a newsletter signup section in your Figma design as the MailChimp widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor using UiChemy.
If you have a newsletter signup section in your Figma design, you can tag those elements as the MailChimp widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor using the UiChemy plugin. When you export the design as an Elementor template, that section will use the MailChimp widget.
What Can Be Tagged?
A frame containing placeholder text for the input field, and a nested frame for the button with button text, can be tagged as a MailChimp widget.
How to Tag?
To do this, open the plugin and choose Classic Mode, then pick one of two options: Step by Step Method or Quick Conversion. This example uses the Step by Step Method.
- First, choose Classic Mode, select the Step by Step Method, and click the Start button.
- Select the top-level page or frame of your layout, then click the Next button. On Optimize Multi-Layer Media, click Lock on any flagged layers (or Lock All), then click Next.
- Under the Widget Tagging Mode tab, select the Manual Widget Tagging option.
- Next, under the Manage Auto Layout tab, you'll see two options: It's already in Auto Layout and Convert to Auto Layout. This example uses the first option.
- After that, under the Tag Widgets tab, choose the frame or container containing the newsletter signup form. Then search for the MailChimp widget from The Plus Widgets in the UiChemy panel and select it. Here you'll see all the supported Elementor widgets.
On the next screen, you'll see information about which element you're tagging as which widget, followed by widget-specific tagging options.
- From the Style dropdown, select a form style.
- From the Icon dropdown, you can select an icon.
- From the Placeholder dropdown, select the placeholder text.
- In the Button dropdown, select the frame containing the button.
- The Button Text field will be auto-selected.
- If you have an icon for the button, select it from the Button Icon dropdown.
- Once done, click the Save button to complete the tagging.
Now, if you export the design, that element will use the MailChimp widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor with your selected text and button.

Since this is a Pro widget, make sure The Plus Addons for Elementor free and pro plugins are installed and activated, and that the widget itself is activated. You might need to make minor adjustments in the widget settings to match your design, especially for elements that aren't tagged.
