How to Tag the TP Blockquote Widget for Figma to Elementor?
Tag a blockquote in your Figma design as the Blockquote widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor using UiChemy.
Are you using blockquotes in your Figma design? You can tag that as the Blockquote widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor using the UiChemy plugin. When you export the design as an Elementor template, that section will use the Blockquote widget.
What Can Be Tagged?
A frame containing the blockquote text, author text, and author description text can be tagged as a Blockquote widget.
How to Tag?
To do this, open the plugin and choose Classic Mode, then pick one of two options: Step by Step Method or Quick Conversion. This example uses the Step by Step Method.
- First, choose Classic Mode, select the Step by Step Method, and click the Start button.
- Select the top-level page or frame of your layout, then click the Next button. On Optimize Multi-Layer Media, click Lock on any flagged layers (or Lock All), then click Next.
- Under the Widget Tagging Mode tab, select the Manual Widget Tagging option.
- Next, under the Manage Auto Layout tab, you'll see two options: It's already in Auto Layout and Convert to Auto Layout. This example uses the first option.
- After that, under the Tag Widgets tab, choose the frame or container containing the blockquote. Then search for the Block Quote widget from The Plus Widgets in the UiChemy panel and select it. Here you'll see all the supported Elementor widgets.
On the next screen, you'll see information about which element you're tagging as which widget, followed by widget-specific tagging options.
- From the Style dropdown, select a style.
- In the Description dropdown, select the blockquote text.
- From the Author dropdown, select the author text.
- In the Author Description dropdown, select the author description text.
- Once done, click the Save button to complete the tagging.
Now, if you export the design, that element will use the Blockquote widget from The Plus Addons for Elementor with your selected texts and style.

Make sure The Plus Addons for Elementor plugin is installed and activated, and that the widget itself is activated. You might need to make minor adjustments in the widget settings to match your design, especially for elements that aren't tagged.
