Wix to WordPress
Bring a Wix build into WordPress with UiChemy, using Claude to make the connection.
Wix doesn't speak MCP itself, so UiChemy can't connect to it directly. Instead, you publish your Wix site, then bring it into WordPress through one of the four supported MCP clients, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, or Antigravity.
You can't connect UiChemy to Wix directly, Wix doesn't have its own MCP. Use the steps below instead: publish your Wix site, copy the live URL, then hand it to Claude (or another supported MCP client) to bring into WordPress.
You don't need to export anything from Wix or touch its code. Publish your Wix site, hand Claude the live URL, and it clones the design then brings that clone into WordPress the same way as any other AI build.
Why It Matters
A Wix site looks done, then you try to grow past it. Wix's own builder is closed, so a site living there hits the same wall no matter how polished it looks:
- You're locked to Wix. No access to the underlying code, no self-hosting, no moving it to a CMS you actually own.
- It stays static. It's frozen at whatever content you last published, no blog posts, no products, no CMS data flowing in.
- It has a ceiling on SEO and extensibility. Limited control over technical SEO, and no access to the plugin ecosystem WordPress runs on.
UiChemy closes that gap in one push: it rebuilds the same design as native WordPress blocks, on your domain, in the builder you already use.
How It Works
The steps. Converting a Wix site to WordPress takes five steps.
Build your site in Wix
However you built it in Wix, new or years old, publish the site and copy your live URL.
Install the UiChemy plugin
Add it to your WordPress site and paste the Connection Link once. Free to start.
Connect the UiChemy MCP
Add the UiChemy MCP to Claude once, or any WordPress MCP you already run (Novamira, WPVibe, Elementor Angie). It remembers the connection for every conversion after that. See Claude Desktop for the config and save path.
Convert to WordPress
Give Claude your live Wix URL and let it clone the site into WordPress. Every page lands native and fully editable.
Example prompt: "Clone the website at https://your-site.wixsite.com/site into a local HTML/CSS/JS project, capturing every page and asset. Then connect to my WordPress over the UiChemy MCP and, using UiChemy Composer, move the whole site in: every page section by section; header, footer, blog/archive/single into the Theme Builder; colors, typography, spacing as a global design system; native and editable in Elementor (or Gutenberg). List the pages you created."
Edit in UiChemy Composer
Restyle, rewrite and rearrange any section visually or by prompt. No code needed.

Benefits
- No export needed. Point Claude at your live Wix URL, no downloading a code export or fighting Wix's own tooling.
- Lightweight output. Clean, semantic HTML with none of the wrapper-heavy bloat typical page builders add, pages stay fast.
- Your choice of builder. Publish into Elementor or Gutenberg today, with Bricks coming soon, your build lands as native, editable elements in whichever you already use.
What You Get
Once your Wix site lands in WordPress through UiChemy, you unlock the rest of the platform, not just a page:
- Client-editable, role-controlled. Hand off to clients and teammates, they edit visually with a full role manager, no code required. See Role Manager Overview.
- Dynamic content and loops. Bind live data and repeat layouts, post grids, product listings, anything data-driven, instead of static placeholder text.
- ACF and custom fields. Structured content with Advanced Custom Fields, ready to wire into any template.
- Theme Builder. Design headers, footers, archives, and single templates that apply site-wide. See Theme Builder Overview.
- Forms and SEO. Native forms plus RankMath or Yoast, with schema, meta tags, and XML sitemaps built in.
- White-label and long-term CMS. Rebrand the editor and grow on a real CMS for years, instead of staying locked to Wix.
