AI to WordPressHTML

HTML to WordPress

Bring an HTML, CSS, and JS build into WordPress with UiChemy, using Claude to make the connection.

A plain HTML, CSS, and JS project doesn't speak MCP itself, so UiChemy can't connect to it directly. Instead, you build or gather the files, then bring them into WordPress through one of the four supported MCP clients, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, or Antigravity.

You can't connect UiChemy to a plain HTML project directly, it doesn't have its own MCP. Use the steps below instead: build or gather your HTML, CSS, and JS files, package them into a zip, then hand it to Claude (or another supported MCP client) to bring into WordPress.

You don't need a page builder or an existing WordPress site to start. Have Claude build your site as plain HTML, CSS, and JS, then bring that build into WordPress the same way as any other AI build.

Why It Matters

A hand-built HTML site looks done, then you try to ship it. Claude hands you a working HTML, CSS, and JS project, but a website you own is something else, your own host, your own plugins, a CMS that grows with you. Left as-is, that gap shows up three ways:

  • You build it twice. Getting a static build into WordPress usually means rebuilding it section by section, by hand.
  • It stays static. It's frozen at whatever markup Claude wrote, no blog posts, no products, no CMS data flowing in.
  • It has no SEO layer. No per-page titles, descriptions, or social previews, and raw file paths instead of clean, readable URLs.

UiChemy closes that gap in one push: it rebuilds the same design as native WordPress blocks, on your domain, in the builder you already use.

How It Works

The steps. Converting an HTML site to WordPress takes five steps.

Build your site in HTML, CSS and JS

Prompt Claude for a complete HTML, CSS, and JS build, or start from files you already have, then package them into a zip.

Install the UiChemy plugin

Add it to your WordPress site and paste the Connection Link once. Free to start.

Connect the UiChemy MCP

Add the UiChemy MCP to Claude once, or any WordPress MCP you already run (Novamira, WPVibe, Elementor Angie). It remembers the connection for every conversion after that. See Claude Desktop for the config and save path.

Convert to WordPress

Attach the zip and ask Claude to convert it to WordPress. Every page lands native and fully editable.

Example prompt: "Here is my site as HTML/CSS/JS at ./site (or site.zip). Connect to my WordPress over the UiChemy MCP and, using UiChemy Composer, move all pages in: header/footer/templates into the Theme Builder, global styles preserved, native and editable in Elementor (or Gutenberg). List the pages when done."

Edit in UiChemy Composer

Restyle, rewrite and rearrange any section visually or by prompt. No code needed.

Benefits

  • Start from scratch or existing files. Prompt Claude to build a site from nothing, or hand it HTML, CSS, and JS you already have, either way ends in the same conversion.
  • Lightweight output. Clean, semantic HTML with none of the wrapper-heavy bloat typical page builders add, pages stay fast.
  • Your choice of builder. Publish into Elementor or Gutenberg today, with Bricks coming soon, your build lands as native, editable elements in whichever you already use.

What You Get

Once your HTML site lands in WordPress through UiChemy, you unlock the rest of the platform, not just a page:

  • Client-editable, role-controlled. Hand off to clients and teammates, they edit visually with a full role manager, no code required. See Role Manager Overview.
  • Dynamic content and loops. Bind live data and repeat layouts, post grids, product listings, anything data-driven, instead of static placeholder text.
  • ACF and custom fields. Structured content with Advanced Custom Fields, ready to wire into any template.
  • Theme Builder. Design headers, footers, archives, and single templates that apply site-wide. See Theme Builder Overview.
  • Forms and SEO. Native forms plus RankMath or Yoast, with schema, meta tags, and XML sitemaps built in.
  • White-label and long-term CMS. Rebrand the editor and grow on a real CMS for years, instead of staying frozen at launch.
