Framer to WordPress
Bring a Framer build into WordPress with UiChemy, using Claude to make the connection.
Framer generates a site or page outside WordPress and doesn't speak MCP itself, so UiChemy can't connect to it directly. Instead, you build in Framer, export the code, then bring it into WordPress through one of the four supported MCP clients, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, or Antigravity.
You can't connect UiChemy to Framer directly, Framer doesn't have its own MCP. Use one of the steps below instead: build in Framer, export the code, then hand it to Claude (or another supported MCP client) to bring into WordPress.
Why It Matters
A Framer site looks finished, then you try to make it a real website. Framer hands you a polished design, but a WordPress site is something else, a domain you own, blocks you can edit, a CMS that grows. Left as-is, that gap shows up three ways:
- You build it twice. Getting a Framer design into WordPress usually means rebuilding it section by section, by hand.
- It stays static. It's frozen at whatever placeholder content you designed with, no blog posts, no products, no CMS data flowing in.
- It isn't yours. A Framer project isn't a WordPress website, no domain of your own, no CMS, no plugins, no SEO layer.
UiChemy closes that gap in one push: it rebuilds the same design as native WordPress blocks, on your domain, in the builder you already use.
How It Works
The steps. Converting a Framer build to WordPress takes five steps, unlike the direct MCP clients, this route goes through Claude with your exported Framer code attached as a file.
Build your site in Framer
Work however you already do in Framer. Prompt the agent or design it by hand, then export the code with the Framer to Code plugin.
Install the UiChemy plugin
Add it to your WordPress site and paste the Connection Link once. Free to start.
Connect the UiChemy MCP
Add the UiChemy MCP to Claude once, or any WordPress MCP you already run (Novamira, WPVibe, Elementor Angie). It remembers the connection for every conversion after that. See Claude Desktop for the config and save path.
Convert to WordPress
Attach the Framer export and ask Claude to convert it to WordPress. Every page lands native and fully editable.
Example prompt: "Take the attached Framer export. Connect to my WordPress over the UiChemy MCP and, using UiChemy Composer, move the whole site in: recreate every page section by section; put the header, footer and any blog/archive/single templates into the Theme Builder; keep colors, typography and spacing as global styles; import native and editable in Elementor (or Gutenberg). When done, list the pages you created."
Edit in UiChemy Composer
Restyle, rewrite and rearrange any section visually or by prompt. No code needed.

Benefits
- Simplest, safest flow. One plugin, one connection, then prompt it to publish, fewer moving parts than a copy-paste stack of exported code, a code plugin, and patch-it-by-hand fixes.
- Lightweight output. Clean, semantic HTML with none of the wrapper-heavy bloat typical page builders add, pages stay fast.
- Your choice of builder. Publish into Elementor or Gutenberg today, with Bricks coming soon, your build lands as native, editable elements in whichever you already use.
What You Get
Once your Framer build lands in WordPress through UiChemy, you unlock the rest of the platform, not just a page:
- Client-editable, role-controlled. Hand off to clients and teammates, they edit visually with a full role manager, no code required. See Role Manager Overview.
- Dynamic content and loops. Bind live data and repeat layouts, post grids, product listings, anything data-driven, instead of static placeholder text.
- ACF and custom fields. Structured content with Advanced Custom Fields, ready to wire into any template.
- Theme Builder. Design headers, footers, archives, and single templates that apply site-wide. See Theme Builder Overview.
- Forms and SEO. Native forms plus RankMath or Yoast, with schema, meta tags, and XML sitemaps built in.
- White-label and long-term CMS. Rebrand the editor and grow on a real CMS for years, instead of staying frozen at launch.
