How to Tag the Heading Widget for Figma to Elementor?
Tag a title text layer in your Figma design as the Elementor Heading widget using UiChemy, and pick its HTML tag.
Want full control over the HTML tag of a title in your design? You can tag a text layer as the Elementor Heading widget using the UiChemy plugin, and choose exactly which tag it exports with, which helps keep your page structure clean for SEO.
What Can Be Tagged?
A single text layer can be tagged as a Heading widget.
How to Tag?
To do this, open the plugin and choose Classic Mode, then pick one of two options: Step by Step Method or Quick Conversion. This example uses the Step by Step Method.
- First, choose Classic Mode, select the Step by Step Method, and click the Start button.
- Select the top-level page or frame of your layout, then click the Next button. On Optimize Multi-Layer Media, click Lock on any flagged layers (or Lock All), then click Next.
- Under the Widget Tagging Mode tab, select the Manual Widget Tagging option.
- Next, under the Manage Auto Layout tab, you'll see two options: It's already in Auto Layout and Convert to Auto Layout. This example uses the first option.
- After that, under the Tag Widgets tab, select the text layer you want to tag. Then search for the Heading widget in the UiChemy panel and select it. Here you'll see all the supported Elementor widgets.
You'll then see the widget-specific tagging option.
- From the Tag field, choose the HTML tag for the heading: h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, div, span, or p.
- Once done, click the Save button to complete the tagging, and you'll see a Tagged successfully message.
The Heading widget needs a text layer. If you select a frame or group instead, UiChemy shows an error asking for a text layer.
Now, if you export the design, that text will use the Heading widget with the HTML tag you chose.
