Quickstart
Welcome to UiChemy, the fastest way to turn Figma designs into production-ready WordPress layouts for Elementor, Gutenberg, and Bricks. This guide walks you through your first conversion in about five minutes.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Figma account with a design ready to export
- A WordPress site (version 5.0 or higher)
- One supported page builder installed and activated, Elementor, Gutenberg, or Bricks
- The UiChemy plugin installed on your WordPress site
Step 1: Install the UiChemy plugin
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add Plugin.
- Search for UiChemy.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
You can also upload the plugin manually via Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin
if you downloaded the .zip file from your account.
Step 2: Install the Figma plugin
- Open Figma and go to the Community tab.
- Search for UiChemy and install the Figma plugin.
- Open the design file you want to convert.
Step 3: Export your design
- Select the frame or component you want to convert.
- Run the UiChemy plugin from Figma → Plugins → UiChemy.
- Click Convert and download the generated
.uichemyfile.
Step 4: Import into WordPress
- In WordPress, open UiChemy → Import.
- Upload the
.uichemyfile you exported from Figma. - Choose your target builder (Elementor, Gutenberg, or Bricks).
- Click Import, your design is now a fully editable page.
