Something not working as expected? Find your situation below. - **Select the main frame.** AI Express Mode converts from the top-level design frame. If you selected an inner layout or nested element, go back and select the main frame. - **Put your design in Auto Layout.** AI Express Mode works best on optimized, auto-layout designs and checks for this before converting. Fix your file first if the check fails. See [Design Optimization](/design-optimization/auto-layout/convert-your-design). After you click **Next** on Step 1, UiChemy assesses your design's health. If it rates the design as poor, it won't convert it, because the result would come out broken. Instead, you'll see one or more reasons, each with a short headline and what to fix. - Fix each reason in Figma, then click **Back**, reselect the frame, and try again. - Make sure you selected the **main (top-level) frame** and that it uses **Auto Layout**. See [Design Optimization](/design-optimization/auto-layout/convert-your-design). - If you see **We need to tidy up your design first** instead, that isn't a block. Click **Tidy up & continue** and UiChemy converts an improved copy, leaving your original untouched. - If you see **We couldn't check your frame**, the check itself failed. Click **Retry**. - Generate a **fresh Connection Link** in the UiChemy dashboard and paste the new one into the plugin. - Make sure the latest UiChemy plugin is installed and active on WordPress and that you're logged in. See [Connect Your Site](/introduction/connect-your-site). - On a live site, confirm you have SSL (https) enabled. - Follow the fix guide that appears in the **Add Site** box. It's matched to your exact error. Working on a local site? See [Connect a local WordPress site](/introduction/connect-your-site#connect-a-local-wordpress-site). Large or complex frames can take longer to process. If it's been several minutes with no progress, click **Stop** and try again with a smaller frame, or check your connection and retry. AI Express Mode reads and rebuilds your design, so results are close, though not always perfect on complex layouts. You don't have to start over: - **Describe the fix** to [AI Chat](/uichemy-composer/uichemy-widget/ai-chat-tab) in plain language. - **Adjust structure and styling** by hand in the [Editor tab](/uichemy-composer/uichemy-widget/editor-tab). - **Start from a cleaner design.** A well-optimized source design converts more accurately, see [Design Optimization](/design-optimization/auto-layout/convert-your-design). Make sure the **UiChemy plugin is installed and active** on your WordPress site, then reopen the page in the Elementor editor. Before converting, UiChemy checks your balance against the estimate on the **Credits** row of the Review screen (shown as **~X needed · Y left**). If you're short, a **You're out of credits** popup tells you how many credits the conversion needs and how many you have. Click **Get more credits** to top up, then click **Convert** again. You can also switch the **Model** to **Standard** or choose a lighter **Motion** tier to lower the estimate. **Check your balance** on app.uichemy.com, and see [How Do UiChemy Credits Work?](/introduction/understanding-credits). ### Still Stuck?
